David started in mortgage banking in 1990. He graduated from Hope College in 1988 majoring in pre-med biology and business administration. He also holds an MBA in finance from Grand Valley State University and is a Certified Mortgage Planning Specialist, the highest designation available in the mortgage industry. David has consistently been rated as one of the top mortgage loan officers in the country by Mortgage Originator Magazine, Scotsman Guide, Origination News and Mortgage Executive Magazine. He has closed over 7000 loans totaling in excess of $1.25 billion at this point in his career, in a small Midwest market.
