Dr. Daniel Romanelli brings more than 24 years of experience as a respected orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine and advanced surgical care. Board-certified in Orthopedic Surgery and Sports Medicine, he is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS). Dr. Romanelli currently serves as an orthopedic consultant for the Rio Grande Valley Vipers and UTRGV Athletics and is an Official Team Doctor for the Vipers with the DHR Health Sports Medicine team. He previously served as Program Director for the Mountain View Orthopedic Residency Training Program and as New Mexico delegate to the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine (AOSSM).
