About Jim's Hardware

Clinton Hardware (South Whidbey Island) was purchased by Hometown Hero Jim Harwell in 1974, renaming the store Jim’s Hardware. The store quickly became iconic to the island, mostly because of its friendly atmosphere and uniqueness. Rebecca Bell purchased the store from Jim’s widow on April Fool’s Day 2008, keeping his two female employees onboard.
