Tim Degan, DO is a fellowship-trained, Board-certified Orthopedic Surgeon specializing in Sports Medicine. His interest in sports medicine stems from his own experience as an athlete throughout his college football career. Dr. Degan comes to Blom Orthopedics from the CORE Institute in Phoenix, Arizona, where he practiced orthopedics for the past five years and worked in a Level 1 trauma center. There, Dr. Degan practiced general orthopedics with a focus on sports procedures involving the shoulder and knee joint, including tendon, ligament and meniscal repair and reconstructions. His goal is getting his patients back to their active lifestyle, whether by joint preservation procedures, such as cartilge restoration, or joint replacement.
