About Jonathan W. Sommerville, MD

Dr. Sommerville graduated from George Washington University Medical School in Washington D.C. He completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor, Michigan and is board certified in the specialty. Dr. Sommerville joined Susquehanna OB/GYN in 2008. He has a special focus in minimally invasive surgical techniques, including laparoscopy, hysteroscopy and in-office procedures. He also specializes in the treatment of abnormal bleeding and contraceptive issues. Dr. Sommerville resides in Bethesda, Maryland with his wife and two children. His outside interests include cooking, traveling, outdoor activities and supporting charities for disabled children.
