Jon Carlson is an expert on FHA-insured Reverse Mortgages, known as Home Equity Conversion Mortgages (HECM). Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, he has been helping seniors take advantage of the HUD Reverse Mortgages and to find solutions to their financial challenges for over ten (10) years. This includes using the program as a wealth management tool to extend retirement or to transition into a new home purchase with no mortgage payments. He regularly speaks to various senior groups including the American Legion, Kiwani’s, numerous senior centers and campuses.
