About Northeast GA Regional Commission
The Northeast Georgia Area Agency on Aging in Athens, GA, serves seniors across Barrow, Clarke, Elbert, and beyond. We provide vital services such as public guardianship, forensic support, and home & community-based services to enhance the quality of life for older adults. Our offerings include the State Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP) for Medicare support, the Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program to advocate for residents in care facilities, and the Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP) to assist with workforce reintegration.
