About Schafer Physical Therapy
Philippe Schafer earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine and received specialized training in Men's Pelvic Floor through the Herman & Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute. Philippe is also a Certified Orthopedic Musculoskeletal Therapist (COMT) through the North American Institute of Orthopedic Musculoskeletal Therapy. His advanced continuing education spans musculoskeletal and manual therapy techniques for the cervical, thoracic, lumbar spine, pelvis, temporomandibular joint (TMJ), upper extremity, and lower extremity. He is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and was previously a sports performance coach for the varsity athletes at Georgetown University.
