About Sharon Lawrence MD

Sharon Lawrence, M.D., is a board-eligible general surgeon who is an expert in general surgery and has a special interest in surgical oncology. Until recently, she worked at JFK Hospital in Edison, NJ, and RWJ Rahway in Rahway, NJ. She served as an acute care surgeon, handling anything that came through the emergency room doors. Although this was rewarding, Dr. Lawrence wanted to develop a practice where she could spend time with patients, creating a close, long-term relationship in an intimate environment.
