About Yosemite Peregrine Lodge

The Yosemite Peregrine Lodge was purchased from Don and Kay Pitts. Don Pitts was the US Magistrate/Judge in Yosemite for many years. When he retired in 1992, he and his wife, artist Kay Pitts, built this beautiful home in Yosemite West and ran the Peregrine Lodge as a Bed & Breakfast until 2012. The Peregrine Lodge became an iconic mainstay in the park during the time the Pitts ran it. Love was kindled and rekindled, and not a few weddings courtesy of the retired judge. Many wonderful and colorful stories circulate even today regarding the guests and Judge Pitts. Eventually, they moved to Fresno and decided to sell their lovely home so others may also enjoy the beauty and solitude of Yosemite.
